Our Vision at Emmanuel Middle is based on the Biblical text behind our core value of Excellence: Colossians (chapter 3 verse 22 The Message), says ". . . don't just do the minimum that will get you by. Do your best." Our vision is for pupils to strive for their best academically, morally and spiritually; in fact we inspire staff and pupils to look beyond themselves because so often our notion of what is "our best" is limited by social, cultural and personal factors.
In day to day school life our three core values summarise how this vision works. After four years with us we expect pupils’ excellence to be the reward that committed endeavour brings. Furthermore, by prioritising pupils’ well-being we ensure enjoyment is the foundation from which they can achieve excellence and sustain endeavour throughout.
Although this site can only give a flavour of all that your child can achieve with us, we hope it helps you to build a picture. Please do follow this visit to our website with an appointment at school to get a fuller sense of everything this great Church of England Middle School, partnered with the Initio Learning Trust, can achieve. We would be delighted to meet you!
